2004 Honda Civic Automatic 44000 miles

I am considering buying a 2004 Honda Civic from an individual. I had a pre-purchase inspection done by the local dealership and they said that oil leakage was likely due to the oil pan gaskets. The person selling the car had the oil changed 2 days ago, and thinks that it could just be oil that spilled from that oil change. Likely? any suggestions on how to quickly diagnose?

Both scenerios are possible. Only way to tell for sure is to clean area of oil drive for a couple days and see if oil reappears.
