Wife left lights on by accident and battery died. I replaced battery, started and then turned off. Next day tried to start and would only turn over. All fuses check ok. Battery terminals tight. Everything was fine before battery changeout. Can someone give me some proper help on this?

Go ahead and keep the $5. The honda people got back with me and told me they have had other people have the same problem. I was told to retry starting, this time hold accelerator to floor until motor finally starts. I will get black smoke upon starting but will clear up and normal idling will result. I tried this and it worked the way it was described to me. I was glad, but a good explanation of why this type problem has happened to me and others just because of a battery change was not given. I have rechecked several times and car is still starting correctly. Please post this to help others if you will. Sincerely JH

Hi carpros4rooti,

Thank you for the donation.

First you would need to check/test what is missing causing the non startiing.

The following link would provide you with the things to check for. Let me know what you find.
