I was in an accident a while ago and ofcourse my suspension has never been the same. I've only recently been able to replace the front lower control arm, wheel bearing, tie rod end, and entire steering rack, along with the tires that were horribly worn. I've had the front wheels aligned and the steering feels ok, but a mechanic told me my rear trailing arms were both bent and he could not adjust the toe on the rear wheels. I cant see any damage to them myself but I do agree the back tires are out of alignment. Is there any way for me to check them myself?

If you can't physically see that they are bent, you will need to set it up on a alignment machine to see the angles.

Ok so i've got the specs on the alignment and the drivers rear is definitly way out. However the passengers side is only about.01 out of spec. Also the technician confirmed that the toe cant be adjusted on the drivers side.

Is it possible to have both trailing arms bent and only have a toe issue on the one side? Should I replace the drivers side first then try for an alignment again?

Also is it possible that the alignment specs were all thrown out because of a bent trailing arm? Because I can visually see that both tires camber seems to be wrong and (if im not seeing things) the toe aswell.
