My civic's speedometer stopped displaying speed today. Is there an easy way for a mechanically inclined owner to troubleshoot this? Or would it be best to take it to a professional? Regards.

Hi mcmichen,

Quite often the cause is a speed sensor fault. Easiest and fastest way is to substitute the sensor.
