Electrical problem
2003 Honda Civic 75,000 miles
The lights on my dashboard go off and on and blink/flash after a few minutes of driving, but only when it's cold. All of the "dials" (?) go off too--gas reads empty, speed reads 0, doesn't show the heat.
When it's really cold they'll just go off altogether and will remain black.
It happened last winter a little bit, but did not happen at all during the spring or summer. Now that it's cold again though, it's acting up. The rest of the car is running fine.
What could this be? And is it relatively inexpensive to fix? I recently brought my car to the shop (got my breaks replaced), so could that have something to do with it?
