We changed the battery and alternator 3 months ago when the battery light started to flicker on and off and the electrical system went haywire ie speedometer wouldn't register, radio would turn on and off even if you turned it off, windsheild wipers ran at slow pace no matter what setting it was on etc. It was fixed until yesterday when the battery light started to flicker again and the electrical system did the same thing...Could this be a faulty alternator or is the computer in the car shutting down?

Hi BradAlan69,

This is not a fault with the computer.

It is a charging or wiring issue and could be a faulty alternator. Get the charging rate and alternator tested.
