The air-conditioning does not turn on when i turn the dial, the air and circulation light is on, i was in a accident last year and got a new compressor, my air has been cold and efficient since the accident. Could it be electrical. I can turn the nob from hot to cold and hear the transition noise come from the engine.

It could be numerous faults. The most common is that you have a small leak somewhere and have released all the free-on in your a/c system.

Have the a/c system diagnosed by a licensed a/c technician.
