2003 Honda Civic Automatic

I had stop at a set of lights and when i went to accelerate, my car would go. so i had to turn it off then on againg. Is this because of the battery?

sorry, was meant to say it wouldnt go when i went to accelerate, it wouldnt even rev

Did the engine stall?

It should not be the battery if it can be started.

Was the Check Engine Light showing?
