i lived in new jersey, I have a honda civic 2002 lx with automatic transmision. With no problem at all, all fluid change is up to date. Currently 109.000 miles on it.
one day I hit the pot hole two times in a same day,
then after the 2nd pot hole that I hit, I drove a car like 2 miles then the transmision start acting up like slipping(not move at all), so I turn off the car like 5 minutes then I start drive a car again, and it was fine just for 1/2 miles then slipping(not move at all) again. So I have to tow my car home. Until 2 weeks letter I start the car again just want to find out what happen, and it was run and drive fine just for about 1 miles only then start slipping again(not move at all).
oh yes the trans just get some oil change may be about 1000 miles with honda transmision fluid.
when I start the car after 2 weeks since the problem, its have a sound like whirling in the tourque converter area. Not sure what it is.
so what should I do?
is that a internal damage and need to rebuild or just a simple thing like a losse connection?
thanks
Albert Hugo
