2002 Honda Civic shifter noises and stiffness

just today my shifter started making squeaking noises out of no where it didnt do it yesterday i also noticed that shifting into gears was stiff especilly 2nd gear

You need to check the gear shift linkages. The bushes might be worrn or has lack of lubricanrts.
