Engine Mechanical problem
2002 Honda Civic 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

Hi guys,
My car started stalling. I took it to AutoZone and i plugged the diagnose machine to it. The machine said" P0304 - Cylinder 4 misfire detected". The mechanics there told me it could be either a bad plug or coil. The mechanics inspected the plug and seemed fine. We then switched the coil with coil #1 expecting to get a different reading but it was still the same: "cylinder 4 misfire".

What can I do?

Hi robacan,

Thank you for the donation.

Did you try swapping the spark plugs?

The other itme to check would be the wires leading to the coil. Did you test if the cylinder is sparking?

If the cylinder is sparking, check the compression and the fuel injector for the cylinder.
