Hi there,

Check for external coolant leaks with a pressure test and also check the pressure cap, replace the thermostat and have the radiator flushed & flow tested, check that the cooling fans are coming on, if over heating continues, check for a faulty water pump and a head gasket problem with a Co head check, this will detect Co in the cooling system, a sure sign of a head problem.
