With a assistant, pull out & hold the release handle. Have assistant pull up on hood while you are holding the handle "out". The hood may open then. If it does'nt, the cable may be broke. If you know anyone w/mechanical ability, sometimes it can be released from going through the grill w/a screwdriver & pushing on the release mechanisim. Look through the grill & see if the end of the cable is visible, then you may see the lever that has to be pushed. From underneath the vehicle, it may be possible to be released by reaching up to the latch w/long blade screwdriver & pushing on the release mechanisim. Might have to remove lower slash sheild. Good Luck !
