IM ABOUT TO START ON REPLACING MY TRANSMISSION ON MY 02 CIVIC LX.. BUT I NEED TO KNOW WHAT THE BEST WAY OUT TAKING OUT THE OLD ONE IS... IM I GONNA NEED GASKETS, WHAT DO I NEED??? HOPE U CA HELP....

Hi fer22,

No gaskets are required but since you are there, get the crankshaft oil seal replaced.

There are no such thing as best way to remove or install.

You would need to remove the axle shafts.
