Hi refpoman,

Depends from where the noise is coming from.

Pedal = pedal linkages needs some oiling.

Rear = if drum brakes, the shoes seat are dry, needs some lubrication.

The squeak is coming from the rear. How do I go about lubricating the drum brakes shoes seat?

Thanks!

Hi refpoman,

You need to remove the rear wheels and brake drums.

Remove the the shoe locking pins and move shoes away from seat, 3 areas x 2 shoes to apply the grease. Use silicone grease and DO NOT over apply taking care that none gets to the shoe linings.

At the mileage indicated, you might need to replace the shoes.
