Hi,
I got my timing belt done at 87k miles. in Dec 2007. After I got it done I used to hear a loud screeching noise like it is coming from the belts sometimes when I start my car.I took it back to the repair shop where I had the timing belt changed and I couldnt show it to them because it doesnt always come. I feel that it mostly comes when the AC is switched on as soon as I start the car.Now I have 95k miles on the car and the sound still comes 1 out of 3 times whenever i start the car. And the sound is very very loud. It stops once the car gets running.I lasts for about 5-10 secs. Can you help me identify what the prob is?I want to get it fixed.Thank you very much.

One of the accessory belts is probably a little loose. Go back and tell them to re-tension your belts.
