i have been carless for the past 2 months . trying to figure out why my car overheats and cuts off on me after 5 min. i noticed that when i took my radiator cap off i noticed that there was like an oilie resedue in my radiator.

when the car first turned off on me. i noticed my check engine light came ok. fallowing a wierd noise like a normal car that over heats. click clank noise.

what might be the proble? the car still runs like i said but only for 5 min then it drastically increases heat.?

The headgasket is bad, the coolant is contaminated with oil.
