2001 Honda Civic help

You need to have the codes read
auto zone will do it for free
as that will help pin point the troubled area
when computer encounter a trouble in one of the sensors
will turn check engine light on
and since its a tranny issue it puts the tranny in a limb mode
to protected from damage and allow you to drive it to a repair shop

i did a diagnostic and it read po122.which is throttle/petal.will this cost alot of money TO GET FIXED?where should i take it to get repaired?

Check for poor connections or loose terminals at the TP sensor and at the ECM/PCM



TP sensor is over $ 200

where do u think i should take it.would strauss auto look at it?

Check for a local repair shop where they deal with things like this
shocks shop I don’t believe will be able to help
but you can ask them they may be able to help you
