The last couple of years 4 to 5 times the car just loses power and the RPM's wont come up and all of sudden it goes back to normal. The Engine light comes on and it is coded as an event with no other information. A couple of times the car sat for a while and started and ran fine.

A friend of mine listened to my tale and after a minute said fuel pump. He said most electric fuel pumps just die but mine lives on. He said EFI's on a Honda should ital about 800 to 900 RPM's and mine was around 600 meaning a week fuel pump. Makes sense to me so is their an access panel to get to the fuel pump or is it a drop the fuel tank type of repair? Your thoughts please?
