2001 Honda Civic cat converter

vehicle was just diagnosed with cat converter problem-
replaced and ran fine for 2-3 days-approx 200miles-
today vehicle started losing acceleration/power and overheated-/check engine light on etc
car had to be towed and is back at same repair shop-

not knowing any additional specifics at time- what are chances cat converter was original issue- and what do you recommend

Can't speculate but post back what they find will advise. Also you must use Honda Cat aftermarket will not work.
