I was trying to get my car out of the snow. I rushed the engine and turned the wheel a couple of times and now when I put my car in drive it makes a loud propeller sound. I also thought it smelled like something was hot or had been burnt when it happened.

Hi there,

This is sounding like you may have done some damage to the transmission or drive line, one quick check is to see if the speedo works when in drive and throttle applied, if not I would say a transmission failure.
