2000 Honda Civic stalls and dies

2000 Honda Civic 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

While driving, my Honda will feel like it has lost it power and begans slowing down. I will pump the
acceralator and hold it to the floor. Sometimes it
completely dies and I have to put it in neutral as
fast as I can to restart the engine. I have had it
to several mechanics and they have put it on the computer but nothing will show up. Can you help me?

This shouldn't be a hard problem. When is the last time you did an engine tune-up? I would start there, then work my way up to testing sensors such as the MAP sensor, ECT, oxygen sensor, etc.
