Air Conditioning problem
2000 Honda Civic Automatic 50000 miles

I have had it fixed twice at Virginia Tire and Auto. First time around 2k. Then they said black death and fixed it again....big bucks again! Now it does not cool much even if I drive at 60 for 20 minutes. Was I taken? What should I do? I asked them when I was in for oil change what was wrong. They said all cars take a while when it is hot out. What is the point of AC then?
I am 80 years old, on O2. I cannot take the heat. Was I taken and what should I do? Do I have to get a new car???? HELP PLEASE.
