2000 Honda Civic No brake lights

well i have no brake lights in a 2000 civic ex. it will go out of park so it cant be the switch under the brake and i changed it just to be safe, but it still did not help. all the other lights work, all the fuse are ok and not bad.. I think it could be a ground wire loss but where would it be. i dont want to rip the car apart and it is really to cold to be doing all that and i have to have the car done in the next 2 hrs to go to work. thanks
