Last night I drove on the Interstate through a snow storm. About 20 degrees F outside and icy snowy roads. I had cruise control on at 75mph for as much of the drive as conditions would allow. Midway through the drive, I noticed a slight jerking or lerching forward when the car tried to accelerate or maintain speed uphill with cruise control on. This got progressively worse. I thought it might be that the tires were not gripping the road well because the the snow (slippage) but then, about 50+ miles after I first felt this, the Check Engine light came on. The lerching got progressively worse--almost the same feeling as when you run out of gas while driving, like the fuel delivery to the acceleration system was spotty, but the car had a full tank. This lerching ONLY seemed to happen above 60mph--below that, I didn't notice any problem. Check engine light remained on today. Any ideas? Brigning this into the Honda Dealership tomorrow and keeping it off the highways until then...

It could be something as simple as a tune up or fuel filter. What ever tripped your check engine light will be stored in computer memory. This will be a valuable clue. If you're not happy with what the dealer says, get back to us, we'll try to help.
