A few weeks ago my Civic started making a grinding sound from the right front wheel when turning left. After driving for awhile it would stop. Now the grinding has stopped and when the car is sitting idling, there is a whistling sound that comes from the front. Could this be something serious?

Check the right front drive axle, tie rod and wheel bearing.
