On the first of July my radiator exploded. I replaced the radiator along with the thermostat. Since then the compressor dose not work and the engine pressure seems a little lower than it was before the incident. Other than that, it functions fairly well. But now all of a sudden the engine light comes on, it starts up funny with a stutter, slightly overheating and smelling. I really need an oil change but other that that everything looks fine. What could it be? And what can I do?

I have little to no money and need my car so I can work. I will donate what I can. Thanks.

First step is to scan the check engine light. If it's a cylinder mis-fire you may just need a tune-up. Or it may be a sensor that is at fault, such as a MAP sensor.
