Recently my drivers side widow stopped rolling up all the way. It will roll down all the way then about 2 inches from the top it just stops. I don't hear a sound like the motor is running to try and push up the window. If this is something I can fix at home I'd be thrilled

Hi sarahjoy,

Sure is something that can be done at home.

If the glass can be pulled up the last 2 inches, the regulator needs to be replaced.

You need to remove the door panel, lower the glass till you can get access of the mounting bolts to release them.

Push glass up and use somthing to hold it up, packing tapes would do ok.

Disconnect motor wires and remove motor and regulator mounting bolts. Slide assy out and you can proceed with replacement.

No adjustments are necessary during installation but try to have all bolts seated as close as possible to original spots.
