2000 Honda Civic Cruise Control

Our cruise control light comes on but the cruise control does not engage. Mechanic said the cause was the cruise control servo actuator. Happened right after we had a timing belt & water pump changed. Could it be something they did? Also, where is it located on the Honda--could we visually see if vacuum line or servo are intact? And, is it normal for servo to go bad after just 103,000miles?

I think if you noticed this happened immediately after the timing belt fix, you may be on to something.
