2000 Honda Civic Car idling

When the car is in idle the tempreture gauge reads halfway, When motorway driving goes to zero. I Have Checked Coolant and anti-freeze all ok and getting hot air. Also suspect fan not cutting in. How may this be happening?

So does the vehicle overheat or does it not reach operating temperature when driving?

Check your thermostat either way.
