Smells problem
2000 Honda Civic 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

Why does it smell like antifreeze burning after my car has started up and gets stronger after it has been running?. There are no leaks and the level is good.

Hi jujubug378,

When smells of anti freeze occurs, coolant is either leaking or splashed onto the engine or exhaust and emitting the smell when it heats up.

The level might be good for now but it would be advisable to get a pressure test done to check if any leakage is occurring. When very minor leaks occurs, it might not be easily visible but the smell is an indication and warning sign.
