1999 Honda Civic Viberation while pressing brakes

When pressing on brakes there is a viberation felt in the braking like a rumbling, and the steering wheel shakes a little. Iam not sure if this is a braking problem or could it be the tie rod?

Hi 99hondaci,

If the problem happens only with slight depression of the brake pedal at moderate to high speed, then it is caused by brake rotors running out of lateral and you need to reface or replace them to rectify.

However if it happens only at low speed, then you need to check the wheel bearings and linkages.
