1999 Honda Civic strange noise

I was driving my car when I heard a strange spring like sound coming from the drivers side front. Could this be a broken spring or something else?

We don't have enough info to tell you what it might be.

What type of noise? Knocking, clunking, screeching?

What driving condition? Turning, uneven roads, speed?

Frequency of noise? Intermittent, all the time?

Imagine calling a doctor and telling him you are ill, how would he know due to what if you don't tell him the symptoms?
