1999 Honda Civic Removing broken wheel lug

1999 Honda Civic 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual 156K miles

I have a broken wheel lug on drivers side and want to replace it but dont know how. Can someone tell me?

On this model you MIGHT have to remove the hub in order to R&R. However, on most you do not.

Simply hit the head of the wheel stud with a hammer and it will pop behind the hub, remove it and install the new one. But the lug nut on the stud and tighten it, making sure that the stud sits flush against the hub.

Now, I know you said wheel lug, but I'm pretty sure you meant wheel stud. The lug is the nut that threads onto the stud.
