I have a '99 Honda Civic with 150000 miles on it. I was driving around yesterday and suddenly I hear a loud rumbling noise coming from the back of the car. I check it out and found that the pipe connecting the muffler to the engine broke in half. My questions are how much (approx.) should this cost to have fixed? Is it OK to drive around with the muffler broken?

depends on the kind of manifold you want it replaced with!

but for the running it with a broken manifold isnt good, your o2 sensors will not properly read and mess up the air to fuel ratio. also you will loose engine backpressure and end up ruining your engine.
