1999 Honda Civic car moves by itself

1999 Honda Civic 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual

when I start my car up in 1st gear and remove the ebrake
and remove the clutch ( I am not pushing the gas pedal or the brake) the car acts like it is going to stall and then keeps moving forward. What is wrong?

Hi kevinkleman,

I believe the engine is surging and you need to check the idling system for vacumn leakages or faulty Intake Air Control valve.
