1998 Honda Civic Wipers

I turned the wipers on and they moved about 2 inches and stopped. Now nothing. I did notice that when I turn them on now I hear a "click" "click", almost like it is turning on and off.

I believe the wiper linkages are faulty. You need to remove the wiper shroud to have a look.
