1998 Honda Civic Windshield Wipers

1998 Honda Civic 4 cyl Manual 128000 miles

My windshield wipers are always on! It started when every 20 to 30 minutes it would just automatically go across my windshield once, but now they're always on! I tried using the wiper fluid, and at first that triggered them to start then stop, but now they won't turn off. Any suggestions? Or do you know how much this will cost if I have to take it in? Thanks!!

Hi there,

I would be checking that the wiper switch is not closed circuit( on all the time) you may need to get a mechanic to test this for you, if the switch is faulty, you may be able to pick up a good used switch from a wrecker at a good price.
