1998 Honda Civic Windshield Wiper Motor

My windshield wiper is sporadic when set to the slow speed (jerks up, and then freezes), but not in the medium or fast speeds. When turned off (in every speed), the wipers freeze (they do not return to rest the position)


What needs to be replaced? The windshield wiper motor?

Sounds like the motor is going out. As long as they work in all positions, the switch is most likely ok
