My car is making a vibrating noise as the car accelerates. It varies with acceleration and de-accleration. It seems to be coming from the right rear of the car. I'm thinking it might be a "carrier bearing" as I have read on the web. I don't think it's the muffler. Any thoughts?

Hi dontlikecars,

The rear should not have anything that can cause vibrations while accelerating or decelerating.

If from the front, it could either be due to the CV inner joints or transmission differentials.
