About two years ago, my AC was working fine. My AC works on four levels, one being the lowest and four being the highest. I had the AC on a low setting, either a one or a two, and it was a hot summer day. I noticed that the AC started to blow hot air then quite working. The AC still works on the high settings like three and four. Sometimes when I have the AC on a high level (3) and switch it to a lower level (2), cool air comes out but hardly anything. Everthing is working under the hood. Can the switch give out on the AC?

Hi magiceye,

If modes 1 and 2 does not work, the blower control resistor is faulty and needs to be replaced.
