1998 Honda Civic Plug wires separate

I am trying to change the plugs and wires. At least two of the wires were not coated with the dielectric grease to stop the plastic extensions from sticking to the plugs. When I pulled those 2 wires, they separated and now I can't get the extensions out. I removed the valve cover thinking I could get to them but I still can't. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Centexmike,

You need something to dig out whatever that is in the plug hole. A strong hooked wire would do nicely.
