My gas pedal on my car is kinda of sticky. The pedal restrains when I press lightly and then accelerates strongly when I apply more pressure. This is not a major problem, I have gotten used to applying the right amount of strength but would like to know if there is an easy fix to my small problem.

Yeah get some throttle cleaner, because its probably stuck and just spray your linkage and throttle plate untill it becomes normal again

Check the linkage from the throttle body to where it holds the plastic lining in place on the engine body. Make sure the cable inside is properly tensioned. Usually it can be adjusted at the accelerator pedal.

I just sprayed WD-40 all over the spring and it seemed to loosen up the tension enough to make it drive normal. Thanks for your response.
