1998 Honda Civic 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Manual 170k miles

i just changed my disributor and spark plugs and wires, but now my car wont accelerate. and will sometimes backfire in first gear.

Did you check the ignition timng ?
Are the firing order correct?
