1997 Honda Civic Whidshield fluid ejection blocked

1997 Honda Civic 4 cyl Automatic 83,000 miles

Hi,
My Windshield fluid seems full but it wont come out when I pull the lever. Are there any simple problems that I can look for and fix myself before I need to take it to a mechanic?

Can you hear a small whinning sound when you pull the lever? Pop the hood and have someone pull the lever if you hear no sound then there is something wrong with your pump. If you can hear something then your hoses are clogged.
