I had some maintenance done to my car and the next day I noticed that when in idle (like at a stop sign) there would be a vibrating rattle noise in the front end. It did not always happen, just sometimes. I took it back in and they could not figure it out.

I know have it in idle, drive, and reverse off and on. Any ideas?

I am not sure if it is just a coincidence that it happened after the work was done, but here is a list of what was done the day before it started:
Oil /filter change, new front brake pads/machined rotors, new wiper blades, new battery, new spark plugs, new distributor cap, rotor and wires, new valve cover gasket and value adjustment, new engine air filter, flushed brake fluid, and lubed run channels on windows

Hi diosaalx6,

It would not be possible to determine if the work done had anything to do with the rattling as noise diagnostics via the internet is not conclusive.

Where noises are concerned, you would need to locate the source to undertand what could be wrong.

It is possible someting was not tightened correctly or foreign matters had fallen into the engine compartment causing the intermittent ratling.
