My 1997 Honda civic with 167000 km. seems to be hesitating while im driving. Meaning it jerks as i press the gas and my RPM goes from 0 to 4 or 5 with no power what so ever. My mechanic has changed basically everything on it from spark plugs to filters to you name. He recently put the computer on it and it gave him a code of 137 and 136 which he said meant the distributor so we changed that too. Well a 1/2 hour later my engine light came on again and the car was still hesitating and jerking the same. My question is what the heck is wrong with my car??? and does this model car come with two gas filters? someone told me they have one in the front of the engine and one in the back??? help please.
thanks.

I would take it to a new mechanic. Since shouldn't be that hard to find.

Please list every single DTC (code) there is in your ECU.

Also, what exactly has he changed? Take a look at the MAP, o2, TPS, mechanical timing, fuel injectors and pump.
