1997 Honda Civic hard start and loud noise

My civic suddenly started being hard to start. It attempted to start but wouldnt catch after pressing gas pedal would start up after stopping would be very hard to start up again. Then all of a sudden it started sounding like a truck very loud and would get even louder as you accelerate please help.

Your explanation is quite confusing.

Is the loud noise coming from the exhaust?

You need to check the fuel pump and pressure and main relay regarding the difficult starting.
Check the spark plugs as well.
