1997 Honda Civic gas pedal

Hi there,

The cable may have snapped or the throttle body may be stuck open with gum, remove the air intake tube into the manifold and look in side there you should see that the throttle butterfly is closed, if it is look at the cable it may be loose or broken, if the valve is open, it will be stuck and normally a good clean with throttle body cleaner should fix this problem, re post if you still have a problem.
