1997 Honda Civic GAS light does not come, When GAS is low.

My Gas light does not come on, When GAS is low. I have virtually run dry one day to test it. But it does not come on. The computer system does not show any fault.

The common fault for this would be a faulty sensing unit in the fuel tank.
